Boo Hoo is a musical group, currently based in Frankfurt/Germany.
Boo Hoo is playing distinctive Folk songs about beautiful, haunting subjects, that sparkle and are fun.
Boo Hoo is songwriter Bernhard Karakoulakis and illustrator Amelie Persson. Both on vocals and on instruments.

Boo Hoo has toured Europe, spent some time in New York and has toured with or supported wonderful artists like:
Creaky Boards, Phoebe Kreutz, The Kills, Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips, Darwin Deez, Dan Costello, Brian Speaker, Julian Gerhard, Danny Malone, The Burning Hell, Forest City Lovers, Tymon Dogg, Roman Fischer, Woog Riots, The Thermals, Le Page and many more.

Boo Hoo released two albums. Hypermarché  (2008) & Afghan Hounds (2010). Both of them can be purchased at Boo Hoo shows or at their webstore.
